Our contact with Hocking Stuart South Yarra began some 8 years ago when we purchased unit 1, 101 Caroline Street South Yarra at auction as an investment property. Peter Perrignon was the auctioneer at the time. Since that time HSSY have managed this rental property attentively and arranged trades people promptly when required and the unit had only been vacant two weeks. Earlier this year we decided to renovate the unit prior to sale, and Grant Wallace negotiated an early lease termination on our behalf on satisfactory terms and provided a schedule of trades people so we could renovate the unit which was very helpful as we reside in Sydney. During the renovation process I spent a number of weeks in Melbourne and am happy to say the trades people recommended by Grant Wallace actually turned up for quotes when promised and and those contracted actually turned up to undertake the works when promised. The quality of the work was very good and competitively priced and the interior display company recommended provided an excellent display to present the unit at its best. Grant Wallace provided recommendation on advertising and arranged photography, with open for inspections on Saturdays, midday midweek and evenings. There were considerable viewings and Grant provided regular feedback on the inspections, as promised. The auction was well attended and there were four serious bidders, a satisfactory result was achieved on the day. Grant conducted the auction in a very competent manner. We would have no hesitation in engaging Hocking Stuart South Yarra to manage another investment property or undertake a sales campaign for us in the future.
