How Easy Was That!!

From day one, Ivan, Karla and the team made the whole process of selling so easy. Karla kept us appraised of all enquiries and comments from potential buyers with a detailed report each week. Come auction day, Ivan was just what you wanted. Working between us, the bidders and the auctioneer, he worked his magic and got us a great result. Highly recommend!

Where else do you feel like the most important person in the room?

I recently sold an apartment through Gibson, to say my expectation was exceeded would be an understatement. As someone who has been involved in a number of purchasing transactions. I was shocked to see the anomaly of the industry; the actual selling agent attending my open homes and managing my marketing strategy (with the support of the Gibson team behind him of course). Ivan was part of every email, on speaker for many of the phone calls, and was even ready to send me a weekend wrap up on a Saturday afternoon. Even for a conservative level sale like mine, Ivan made himself available, and more importantly accountable for the entire process. I never felt as if I was being palmed off to a junior sales representative, and never felt as if the Gibson team didn't have all the time in the world to drop everything and reorientate where the situation required. As I said in the Headline, Where else does a Managing Director do all that? Awesome job Gibson, I will be back.

Having dealt with Ivan Lampret 13 years ago when I sold my home, he was my first choice knowing how much he helped me then.Being 90 and having to deal with moving again was very daunting especially as time was the utmost thing. Well, it was managed with his and his staff's expert knowledge and I believe the sale was as good as possible at the time

Adaptive Selling

It started out as a straight forward residential auction sale plan with spring campaign and an early summer sale. However the RBA had decided to steer the economy into recession with recent phase of rate tightening. Ivan expertly managed all the sale campaign elements from photo shoots to web promotion to weekend open house inspections, all the time keeping us updated on the progress of the various expressions of interest. When the pre auction decision day came we were across the status of the market and followed Ivan’s advice for a pivot to treaty sale allowing time for the real buyers in the market to get confident with their pricing decisions and progressing to a satisfactory sale transaction for all parties. Closure pre Xmas, allowing us to plan for the new year.
