I recently decided to put my beachfront property at Mona Vale up for sale and met with a number of agents before deciding to contract with McGrath Pittwater. Prior to doing so I had made enquiries of other vendors that had sold their properties through this agency and received positive feedback. I was impressed with the professional manner in which Principal Mr James Baker took the time to develop a clear understanding of the features of the property from my experience living there for 10 years . Unlike some of the other agents, James was not prone to exaggerate the price I could expect to achieve, and now at the conclusion of the sale, it is clearly evident that the prices being bandied about were unrealistic and simply tabled to acquire the listing. It is widely acknowledged that selling your home can be stressful at the best of times but it was especially so in this case as I had already committed the cardinal sin of buying another property before selling. My property fell within the prestige section of the market and as such there is a finite number of prospective purchasers in that price bracket and I started to get a little anxious.
