James and i met when we were house hunting during 2019, and straight away I recognised that he was keen to assist us as buyers (which is quite unusual). He stayed in touch regularly and called as soon as he found properties that matched our needs. I had actually already seen the house we ended up buying (18 months previously when it was for sale last time) but as I enjoyed James' company and wanted to show him that I appreciated all the effort he went to, I went along. During the negotiation phase James was also excellent - we made it hard for him with a number of requests and offers, but in his diplomatic, empathetic manner he pulled off a deal which we were happy with.
