With his love of real estate inherited from his father John Sheppard, James Sheppard became the Principal and owner of Allen and Sheppard Real Estate in 2008. After growing up in the area since birth and graduating from Barker College, James spent a year travelling after school. James completed numerous horticultural certificates and pursued his enjoyment of landscaping and horticulture. However, his underlying passion was in real estate and James went back to study in completing his Real Estate License and furthermore his Valuation registration. James first became successful in sales believing in telling the truth and genuinely trying to help people get the best result possible. In 2008 James purchased the business and continued to build Allen and Sheppard Real Estate as one of the few independently family owned agencies based on genuine trust, honesty and hard work. His goal still today is to build upon the already exceptional reputation as being the most trustworthy, honest and upfront real estate agency in the area.
James prides himself on his local knowledge and his desire to help people through a stressful and often emotional time. He and his wife Stephanie bought and renovated their first home in Westleigh 10 years ago, and have welcomed the arrival of 3 beautiful girls who attend local schools in the area. James has always enjoyed an active lifestyle including being involved in Rugby Union for Barker Old Boys, surfing, wakeboarding, volunteering as a surf lifesaver and serving as one of the main sponsors of Thornleigh Thunder Soccer Club for many years. Recently James has joined the Westleigh Warrior running club, clocking up 3 Marathons and a 50km UTA Trail run to keep fit and healthy.
