Jamie is a great agent and has a lot of knowledge and know how when it comes to selling a home. He always works to do the best for the seller. He is very empathetic towards his clients and works with you through out the whole process, he rang after every open day and kept in touch as to how things were going by phone and as an agent I would recommend him. The following things I believe are more a Harcourt's issue and not Jamie . Selling a home is very stressful for the vendors with open days etc, We had actually just been through the process of selling another house with another agent which was more stress free. We do not have to pay the marketing fee till settlement and there is no interest charged, its hard enough selling without being told you need to find this money or pay interest if it is done at settlement. As a seller I do not need to know what people like and dislike about my house, it is after all my home my taste and not theirs and it left us very depressed with some of the comments and stressed. I do not think it is necessary to visit the agent every week for 20 mins for the same thing every week. With the other agent we met him twice and in between it was all emailed to us and went smoothly . Possibly the first two weeks which are the busiest then the last week to see how the campaign is going and set the reserve all on the same day. We were not impressed at having to have our busy stressful lives interrupted 4 times the last week, two open days which is expected but twice to see Jaime is not acceptable, once to see how things are going and set the reserve as well all on the same day would have been better. It was never done with the other house and different agent and it sold for twice as much. Sellers have busy lives as well and its not 24/7 just on the house. I appreciate all the hard work the agents and especially Jamie do and he was terrific. Harcourts making your system better can make the job better for your agents who do a remarkable job.
