We had previously signed exclusive contracts with any agent who promised that they could sell our house. We paid marketing campaigns within newspapers, promotional magazines and signage. But after two years of dealing with some very ordinary agents we were worse off than when we started, our bank balance had decreased and we were incredibly frustrated.
