Jay, a third generation Victoria Park resident worked as a Director at Peter Fletcher Realty for 12 years before joining with Joe Mucci in 2007 to establish pfr.com.au.
Born at 159 Hubert Street when it was a maternity hospital, he has been loyal to the area since.
As a child he attended school at Victoria Park & East Victoria Park Primary which is now known as the Park Centre Shopping Complex. Jay worked in the area at the BP Petrol station on Berwick Street as a teenager and the Parrys Store before it was renovated into offices where pfr was born.
He currently lives down on the Burswood Peninsula in a two storey home with his family and enjoys spending time on the golf course, cycle paths and paddling on the river.
If ever the title of "Mr Vic Park" was appropriate Jay Wood is just that!.
