He was so dedicated when he sold us the house that we knew he would do the same for us when we sold. The first thing we noticed about Jim was his energy and enthusiasm. We were selling our house from interstate and needed someone to manage the preparation of the house for sale who was practical, knowledgable and hands on. We wanted to know that when we called we could speak directly with Jim and wouldn't be managed by associates and that he would be the one dealing with all potential buyers and present at all the open for inspections. Jim went to extraordinary lengths, organising tradies, getting the house cleaned, checking it after storms, even using his handyman and landscaping skills to ensure the place was in ship shape condtion for each open. We never felt under any pressure to take low offers and felt he always gave us good impartial advice. We were very pleased to sell our house within 30 days for a price we were happy with. We can't speak highly enough of Jim. Choosing Jim as our agent was easy - not once did we receive a pushy phone call from him whilst deciding which agent to go with nor during the period before we were ready list our house. However, he kept in touch with us via 'postcards' keeping us informed and updated on the local market and house sales. Once we had engaged Jim and Ranges First National, he gave us a realistic estimate on the value of our house, he kept us updated after every 'open house inspection', he called regularly during the week to let us know how leads were going, we know he chased all potential buyers (often working late into the evening), he gave us tips on how to best present our home for sale and always remained positive (during a period when there was a downturn in house prices). He ran an extra 'open house' on a Sunday and as a result we ended up having a couple of interested and genuine buyers and he sold our house at a price we were very happy with. Throughout the entire process we felt that Jim was always upfront, honest and that he knew and loved his job.
