Breaks the industry mould

John was recommended to us by a friend and exceeded our expectations. Having contact with many real estate agents in the past 2 years, we were disillusioned with the industry due to unsolicited approaches, aggressive self-promotion, arrogance and at times deceitfulness. John was such a pleasure to deal with throughout the process of selling two properties. He listened to us and the manner of his advice was respectful, knowledgeable, cheerful and clearly genuine. He has a down to earth and humble nature which sets him apart. The industry would earn more respect if there were more agents like John.

Wonderful purchasing experience

John was very helpful in the purchasing of my new property. I found him to be reliable and extremely helpful. Nothing was an issue, questions were answered and he was always punctual and considerate. Most of all I found John to be very open and honest which I find a rarity these days. I would definitely recommend John to anyone who is looking to buy or to sell a property and I would certainly engage John if I decided to sell in the coming years.

Honest, reliable, helpful - and got a good price!

We were recommended John by a friend who had actually had a suburb record-breaking sale achieved by John. Our property was a pretty standard type of place, but that did not dent John’s preparedness to go the market and achieve a price we were more than satisfied with. Right from the start he gave us what we believed was an honest and accurate assessment of what we should achieve, based on his demonstrated market research into the local area, sales in the same townhouse complex (surprisingly not something the other two agents we interviewed did), type and standard of our offering compared to others on the market as well as past sales in the area. This gave us confidence that we would achieve the price range John indicated - indeed we achieved a little more than that. We do not live in Brisbane and were overseas for much of the marketing campaign, and luckily could rely on John to prep the townhouse for market (he had his own props like nice towels, flowers etc) and throughout the process whilst we were away John kept us up to date with what was happening. We really appreciated his honest non-grandiose approach, the fact that we felt confident in his appraisal and marketing, his preparedness to help us anyway he could when we were unable to be in Brisbane and his 100% reliability to do what he said he would.

Remote Sale

Due to lockdowns, my wife and I sold our home of 15 years remotely. After not having been able to come home for months, we decided to sell and our appointment of John to do so turned out to be a simply wonderful decision. At all times John was understanding of our anxiety at not being able to be present and treated our home as if it were his. His attention to detail was extraordinary, continually ensuring the property was presenting at its best and ensuring that we were kept abreast of all developments in the sale process. In the end, the property sold quickly and at a price we were delighted with - without John, I do not think this would have been possible.
