Selling the family home of over 30 years was always bound to be fraught with mixed emotion. Along with a sense of excitement comes a sense of dread and fear at the reality of so much change. I was the liaison for my parents on this journey and I was determined to select an agent that would nurture my parents through the fear whilst having the skill and strength to 'make it happen'. My reason for choosing Jellis Craig was simple, it's about people and non invasive demena. Buying a home is stressful whether your the vendor, or the buyer. The market is certainly regulating itself, and Jellis Craig understand that. As a vendor, who has also recently bought and in an affluent area of Melbourne was impressed with the way Jellis Craig were able to out themselves in both people's shoes, never undervaluing what the the vendor was wanting price wise, or what the buyer was really prepared to spend. The process was gentle and positive. I'd recommend these guys to anyone looking.
