Almost three years ago, I sat down with John to discuss the logistics of potentially selling my hubby's childhood home after his mum passed away. Of all the agents I met with back then, John was by far the most professional and least pushy of the bunch. It took hubby over two years to actually become okay with the idea of doing anything with the vacant property. John had a number of hurdles that he needed to clear in order to get the sale over the line and I am happy to say that he got there. We had building issues, timid first-time buyers, contracts crashing a number of times, issues with valuations etc. Throughout the whole process John remained professional and upbeat despite the roadblocks and when one contract fell over he was either turning up with another one or organising more open-home inspections.
