John needs to improve in the area of negotiation. During the process of selling our property we gained a contract twice, the first time it felt as if John was working for the buyer, rather than us as the seller which did not sit well with me. In terms of communication I had to follow John up on a few things and felt that a quick phone call in most cases to update me on progress would have been better than an email, which is John's preferred method of communication. John needs to work on his confidence as it is easy to detect when he is not confident in what he is saying and as a result puts doubt in the mind of the client.
