As a Yass local, John Warren completed his schooling at Yass High School before moving to
Canberra to pursue a career in the horse racing industry. After some success he decided he
was well suited to a career in sales and started a sales traineeship at John McGrath Ford in
Belconnen. From there he excelled and was given an opportunity to move to Perth to
further his sales career. While working for Lynford Motors in Perth, John was consistently
the number one salesperson for the company and went on to win many awards including
´Used Car Salesperson of the Year´ for 2 years in a row.
He enjoyed the excitement of living in Perth but was drawn back home to Canberra to be
close to familiar friends and family. At this point he decided to fulfil a long time ambition
in residential real estate sales. John approached Independent Property Group as he
believes the company is the benchmark for innovation, marketing and professionalism
within the Canberra region.
His passion for real estate and knowledge of the Canberra area, along with his strong focus
on customer service, means that he is in the best possible position to understand what his

Although John is considered a workaholic, in his down time he enjoys spending time with
his partner, family and friends and is an avid sports fan. He has played Rugby League and
Oztag in his younger years and can sometimes be found on the golf course with friends.
Based in the Inner North office, John loves working with the team at Independent Property
Group which has won the Real Estate Institute of the ACT´s ´Large Agency of the Year´ 14
times and ´Australian Large Residential Real Estate Agency of the Year´ 4 times.
