My mother is 89 and recently decided to sell her house. We had the pleasure of being introduced to Kel Northwood through Darren Kerr of Lobb & Kerr Lawyers. It was a tough decision for her as she and my father had built their house and it had been the family home in Mount Waverley since 1954. Kel was extremely considerate and understanding in helping my mother come to the decision to sell at auction. He then worked closely with Darren Kerr and guided us through the necessary process with ease and helpful suggestions. He was always good-humoured and encouraging in preparing the house for sale, offering well timed support and advice as well as providing contacts for a handyman to do the odd jobs that were necessary. He provided a thorough knowledge of house prices in our area and the auction process. By auction day, we were well prepared for the current market value and the house looked its sparkling best. Kel and his team had generated a lot of interest in the property, followed up prospective buyers and kept us up to date. On the day there was a good crowd of interested buyers. My mother and I were kept up to date with progress while the auction was in process. The sale price exceeded all expectations!! We were very relieved to sell on the day.
