Kim McQueen (together with Jeremy Fox) of RT Edgar acted for me in the sale of my house at 2 Grong Grong Court Toorak in July and August 2015. I was given very good advice on the sales campaign including the estimated sale price, the recommended date and month to hold the auction, the advertising, the preparation of the brochure and the presentation of the house on inspection days. After every open for inspection Kim would ring me to provide a detailed summary of the people who had visited the property and the degree of interest they had shown. A few days prior to the auction I was given a detailed briefing on the interest that had been shown in the house the persons who are expected to bid the auction and the reviewed price range I could reasonably hope to expect at the auction. The auction was held in a professional and competent manner and at no time was any pressure exerted on me to agree to sell the house for any price. As a vendor I was very pleased that at no time was any attempt made to try to "crunch" me to sell the house, which some agents tend to do. The house was sold in negotiations after the auction for a price in excess of that expected by the agents and above my reserve. After the sale of my house Kim continued to provide me with exceptional service in dealing with the purchaser and in identifying and showing me suitable properties to purchase as I wished to downsize. Kim also drew my attention to properties which other real estate agents had on the market and even attended inspections of those properties to provide me with her feedback and opinion on them which was very helpful to me.
