Mark and Robert ran an excellent marketing campaign with each of the Open Inspections well attended by Barry Plant staff. We were impressed with how Mark monitored then tweaked the marketing campaign to improve our property's visibility and traffic. We appreciated Mark's directness and honesty compared to other agents and this a key reason why I would recommend any prospective Vendor to engage Mark to sell their property. Mark's team, were always pleasant, personable and patient in dealing with our questions and concerns during the marketing campaign, especially Robert Di Giulio, who showed himself to be very committed in displaying our property to prospective buyers. On the Auction day Mark worked very hard to achieve a result and proved to be a skilled negotiator. Given that on any Auction day Mark may have several properties to Auction or sell after Auction, his time management stills are impressive. We appreciated some of the extra touches he provided, such as the coffee - one of the features that demonstrates his commitment to his clients. At times it was difficult to track Mark down, understandable given his heavy workload and testimony that he is in high demand.

In general, there are many bad experiences being told about real estate agent but not for us. Our journey with Mark was a very pleasant experience from the initial appraisal of our house until the conclusion of the auction. From the beginning Mark invested a lot time trying to understand our needs and expectations. This continues throughout the marketing campaign period for about 5 weeks with continual feedback about the responses from potential buyers. The weekly reports were very useful for us to understand the market situation and to prepare us to manage our own expectations of setting a reasonable reserve price for our house. As a vendor the biggest disappointment is when you don't get the price that you expected. Although our property was passed in after the auction the final price was reasonably close to the one appraised by three other agents. On this basis Mark was spot on in his ability to negotiate a price that is acceptable by the vendor and buyer (ie. market price). We are grateful to Mark's efforts to achieve a successful outcome as he has shown great empathy, honesty and commitment to us as a client. Always willing to listen, serve and accommodate his client's opinions he has demonstrated to be the ideal real estate agent ( a role model for the industry).
