About Mark

Mark has the benefit of having an imposing physique, but it is his unique blend of experience that delivers great results for his clients. He has learned over his sales career that to be successful, you need to be working harder and smarter. This was no more evident than whilst completing his Bachelor of Commerce degree, he was also managing the sales team for Australia’s largest solar company. “Sales is after all a process that’s about achieving results. And there’s nothing more satisfying than unlocking value from a client’s property well above expectations”. In this increasingly electronic age, timeless attributes remain. Knowledge, trustworthiness, punctuality, communication, and good old friendliness – these are Mark’s trademark strengths. Away from work Mark is a formidable force on the basketball court playing competitively at MSAC. He enjoys watching the mighty hawks, but his interests also include fishing, cooking, and eating – in that order!

Two for Two

Mark did a terrific job managing the sale of 2 apartments for us. We had a super tight timeframe, but Mark got the job done with very good results. As overseas vendors, Mark made what could have been a complicated exercise very simple and convenient.

When I first met Mark in November 2015, he seemed a very pleasant, well presented and organised young professional. He clearly explained the selling process - including property assessment, renovation/styling possibilities, advertising/marketing, costs, timelines and the auction process. He provided a file of useful information, which included recent sales of similar properties in the area over the last 18 months. We were undecided about selling, so he kept in touch with me by phone on a regular, but not intrusive, way. When we finally made the decision to sell in April 2016, we met with Mark again. At this stage, he was able to individualise the information for our property. We visited the property together to discuss what needed or could be done to the property to best capture the market. I made the decision to renovate, based on his excellent information about the usual types of buyers for our property. Mark was then able to introduce us to an excellent company who specialised in renovations. After the property was beautifully renovated and styled, Mark then concentrated on the advertising and marketing areas. He talked us through the merits of particular types of advertising and what he thought would be best for our property. The timeline for 'open house' was put in place and Mark clearly explained the weekly reports that would be sent. During this period, It was evident that Mark and his team were very busy collecting useful information about prospective buyers and keeping in close contact with anyone who may be interested in our property. He was also in contact with us by phone and was always able to allay our fears and ease our nervousness with both his knowledge and his friendly, calm manner. The auction attracted the largest group of buyers and the highest price ever for any townhouse in this group! We could not have been happier with the result and without hesitation we are delighted to recommend Mark and the Jellis Craig team.
