Being a former AFL player I had to deal with many sales agents. I had met Matthew Pillios over the years through my mutual friend Brodie Holland (also a former player) and he was always a good guy to know. But selling my house was a huge thing for me. After interviewing Matthew & Buxton RE he clearly showed that he had a great strategy for my most precious possession. I set Matthew a big task of a high asking price. He never showed or let me know that it was going to be hard. From the start he organised it all. Tradesman, stylists, conveyancer, cleaners, advertising, video, everything and anything. He advised me to invest money into the home that I didn't want to spend , but I trusted him. Nearly $15,000 later fixing things, I am so glad I did now. Matt never tried to use this as an excuse and got me an amazing $1,720,000. $120K over my reserve. Last year two doors down sold for $1,580m on the same size block. Matthew aims to please and puts in a lot of effort, if anything over communicates, but we certainly knew what was going on through the process.

I usually don't take the time to write these review but I felt it was important that other people knew how hard Matt worked for us in selling our most prized possession. When I found out that Matt hand only been an agent for 3 - 4 years I was shocked as he came across like a veteran and the knowledge he brought with him was what made the difference. He sold our house like he was selling his own house and what made it more difficult for us was that we had moved interstate while this was all going on. Throughout the whole process Matt kept us up to date with the progress and was always open and honest with us. I would be getting messages and email late through the night which meant that he made our property his number on priority which is what you need in an agent. He made us felt at ease and we trusted him 100% in the decision he was making on our behalf.
