In our first phone call Max sensed our love for the property and moved mountains to arrange an immediate inspection. He didn’t try and leverage other buyers’ positions against us, and instead offered sound market knowledge and guidance to help us determine our own buying position. What really impressed us, is that weeks after our purchase contract had gone unconditional, and at a moment when Max didn’t need to contact us at all, he still picked up the phone to let us know that a similar property had just sold identical pricing to ours. Any “buyers price remorse” that we were harbouring instantly vanished.
Max was incredibly knowledgeable in regards to apartment sales in the area but in particularly our building. This was a real bonus. I’ve met many agents o er these last 20 months and in that time I’ve encountered a good cross section of personalities. My first impression of Max was that he always wore that welcoming smile. It’s all very well to have that but it was a package that made Max a standout. Yes, he’s very young but he handles himself extremely well and he has a lot of potential going forward. It’s vital that an agent can deal with both parties regarding a sale or purchase , otherwise one party will feel disappointed n disillusioned. On each occasion Max was readably available to answer any questions or concerns I had. Max was even able to tell me how often I viewed properties listed under he and his partner in their business. He knew from doing his homework what type of property I wanted . For an angel to be able to tell me how long and how often I’d be searching was impressive. Max even caught me out on the price of a property I had visited. For any professional these days it’s so imperative that he/she know not only their product but also that of others who they are in competition with. From my own experience, it’s a war trying to secure the right property at the best price. Max was readily available to answer my question and to follow up anything unknown. He had a great knowledge of the history of recent sales in the area, and even took my calls on a Sunday. A professional works 24/7 these days, sad but true. Apart from the professional manner in which he acted it was his friendliness and frankness that stood out let’s be honest, it can be hard to find the right agent , but I like to think at my age that instinct has a lot to do with it . We were even able to laugh about other things not related to real Estate. I met Max at the home open and his demeanor immediately puts you at ease. No hard sell, just let me wander at my own pace and absorb the property. I thought I had lost it as a contract went on before I could put an offer in and the first contract fell over and Max called to say if I was still interested, its back on the market. He moved an appointment so that we could see it that day. He has been in contact all through the process and has been easy to contact. Very responsive with call backs too which was great, as we had questions. My parents were in real estate for almost 50 years and Max reminds me of that old school professionalism that my parents had with their clients. Very impressed
We have now purchased two properties and sold one with Max and at all times been thoroughly satisfied with the integrity he has shown. We appreciate his honesty and the way he works to secure the best price for his vendor, he actually achieved a record price in our building for us. We would like to comment though from experience that he does this while always being considerate to the purchaser as well, thus the reason why we engaged him to sell for us. He follows up quickly on any inspections and open houses, keeping you involved and answering any questions you may have. Max is always ready to take your call and if he is busy will promptly send you a text letting you know when he will return your call. This he does personally not passing us off onto a personal assistant, which we have experienced in the past with other agents. Lastly he is never pushy, allowing you to progress through the sale/purchase process at a pace you feel comfortable with.
