As the buyer of 3 Tasker Street, I’m extremely disappointed with my experience dealing with Maxwell Hooper. After settlement, I discovered several pre-existing property issues that were not disclosed during the sale process — despite being known by the tenant and, I believe, already raised with the agent prior. It became clear that these defects (including a cracked kitchen bench, unresolved maintenance dating back to early 2024, and a formal tenant complaint via Form 11) were long-standing issues. These were never mentioned by Maxwell at any point, even though the tenant has since confirmed that they were communicated well before the sale. This lack of transparency feels deliberately misleading. As buyers, we trusted that we were being given accurate and honest information, which unfortunately was not the case. The result has been unexpected costs, time-consuming back-and-forth, and a breakdown of trust in the process. In my view, this reflects poorly on Maxwell’s professionalism, communication, and ethical obligations as a seller’s agent. I would not recommend him to other buyers based on this experience.

Max was fantastic throughout the whole process. He went above and beyond to ensure we got great numbers through during the inspections and very competitive offers above market value. He is very knowledgeable and trustworthy, and provided excellent advice regarding both the sale of our property and purchase of our new property. Highly recommended!

Maxwell Hooper has been terrific in selling our property under very difficult conditions (just after the cyclone). He took care of everything for us including the contract and all relevant paperwork. Whatever he advised us, he delivered. We could not have asked for a better person to sell our property.

Maxwell is a super nice guy who is genuinely likeable. Our buyer must've liked him too because we got the price we wanted in a 4 week campaign. We have sold a few properties now and realise how much contact you have to have with your agent and at times honest and direct chats, but no need with sale and this agent. Maxwell respected our position as realistic sellers and made sure our expectations were met. We really loved working with Maxwell as his feedback was genuine and we could see how hard he was working for us. 5 stars and highly recommended. Thanks for an easy selling experience Max. 👌

Maxwell Hooper did everything possible to make sure I received a phenomenal price for my property. The property was sold numerous times but we had issues with valuers not valuing up the property but we eventually got there in the end and still a price beyond my expectations (and well above what the valuers valued it at!).
