As a buyer, I found Michael approachable and easy to deal with. His running of the auction was good, and getting the deposit payment sorted and paperwork done was fast and efficient. He was accommodating in leaving the keys for cleaners, and left a nice little welcome package for us :) Missing a star because Michael did not get back to me during the week before the auction to answer a question I had asked during a scheduled inspection a week earlier (or at least tell me he'd tried but couldn't find the answer), so his service to me as a potential buyer was not as good as it could have been. There was also a costly problem with the hot water heater, which I only found out when I moved in to my new property and had no hot water - the pilot light wouldn't light, so I had to get a plumber round who ended up having to replace a part. ~$500 bucks added to the sale price :( While Michael had no obligation toward me, it would have been nice if he had checked with the vendors that all the basic utilities were functioning before settlement.
