Prior to engaging Michael my husband and I spoke with a number of other agents. They were discarded as the quoted value of the property seemed to be far in excess of comparable sales in the area. One by as much as $400,000. Also the "Cohen Brown" type American sales pitch was all too obvious and not appreciated to our conservative nature. Whilst Michael is in the business of sales his approach was open, honest and friendly. His estimate of the property value was $1,200,000 to $1,300,000 with the land content being about$1,000,000. At Auction we did not receive one bid at the advertised price, nevertheless Michael was able to find a buyer at $1,200,000.To us this demonstrated his sound judgement and ability to close deals to the satisfaction of all parties.
