Michael was very forthcoming in explaining the buying process (as we were from interstate), what to expect and communicated often with us. Our offer was accepted and Michael arranged a special visit for me to see the property a week later, since I was unable to make the first inspection; these extra touches from Michael puts him in a league above other real estate agents. Throughout the buying process Michael was always approachable and the whole team was a pleasure to deal. My husband and I have bought and sold a number of homes and investment properties, and in the main have been unhappy with the assistance from our chosen Real Estate Agent. Both Vicki and myself interviewed 5 real estate agents and 1 buyer's advocate before our home at 51 St Helens Rd Mitchelton went up for sale. Having been bitten once before, we were determined to get the right agent this time around. We had estimations of price from all of these agents except for the buyers advocate - ridiculous amounts with a difference of $500000 at either end of the scale. We felt confident that Michael and his team would deliver on what was promised at his interview. At the risk of telling his trade secrets, Michael insisted that we have a interior design agent go through and add art, cushions and furniture to complete the selling presentation of our home. He was smart when the first open day came around. We had concerns about the 0.5 hour only inspection time. This was part of his strategy to create competition amongst prospective buyers, which worked in our favour. With 3 verbal and one written buyers offers in the first open inspection, we were over the moon. The price that was offered was right at the upper end of the range where Michael had presented to us at his interview. His professionalism and tech savvy team approach using footage including eye in the sky videos from a drone is second to none. The only small bit of constructive criticism I would like to offer Michael and his team is the after sales communication was a bit poor where lengthly periods of time went by before he returned a phone call etc. But that aside "would I use Michael Spillane and his team again? Absolutely!!!

What a great experience! Our house was listed on a Tuesday, and Under Contract the next day for the price we had hoped to achieve! Michael spent time advising us on presentation prior to listing for sale, and had informed information about similar recent sales in our area. Michael was so professional, and he and his team quickly dealt with any issues that arose - often before we had time to think about the solution, they had already considered it and addressed the issue!
