We were very conscious of that fact that we had limited local knowledge of the market and the expectations of the very different demographic from our own. We wanted an agent who could ensure the property was effectively promoted to an audience through media aligned to expectations and requirements. The number of people attending the inspections and the auction proved that our requirement were met and that contributed to a successful outcome. They knew the market for the area very well and in general we followed the advice provide and that proved to be the best course. Advice about how the home should be presented was also particularly useful. Nick, Corie and the rest of the team conducted themselves very professionally and met our needs for regular communication and feedback. They were particularly sensitive about the fact that our parents had lived a long time in the house and dearly loved their garden.
