my wife and I were first time sellers. we researched the market for a suitable real estate agent and interviewed 4 different real estate agents. Owen was the only agent that recommended Auction in our area. Auction was clearly the way to go given the current market in our area. every other agent was more concerned about what price we should advertise it for where as Owen said "let the people decide". it was then his job to get as many people interested and emotionally invested in our property. Owen's strategy blew the other 3 agents out of the water. Owen doesn't get his reputation from selling houses at a bargain price, he get's it because he works for the buyer and makes sure he maximises the $$$ you get for your property. I wouldn't bother going anywhere else. Yes he was more expensive to go through regarding Marketing and Commission, However with this in mind we still got above and beyond our reserve. My recommendation would be to Interview others and get him in last, you will see exactly what I mean.

Our auctioneer described Owen as "The King of Sunnybank", and the title fits. We didn't sell at auction, but 2 days later we had 3 new buyers and sold that night.
