I spoke to 4 agents before selecting Paul Eatwell of NCLP to sell my Mullumbimby investment property. I chose Paul because of his building back-ground which I was confident would enable him to convey to prospective buyers both the value of the improvements I had made (many of which were "unseen" rather than cosmetic) and the scope for further cosmetic enhancements. The comparative market study Paul produced to arrive at his suggested selling range was significantly more comprehensive than those provided by the other agents and the price range suggested was significantly above. This higher price guidance clearly wasn't an exercise in over promising to get the business then "managing expectations" (which some agents do) as we signed an unconditional contract at a price above the top of other agent price ranges within 3 weeks of putting the property on the market even though the market was losing steam by the time I'd prepared and styled the property. The commission structure offered by NCLP was also the fairest suggested to me - which greatly reduced my selling costs and ensured I kept more of the price Paul achieved. As an added bonus Paul is down to earth,genuine and a pleasure to deal with.
