Harcourts achieved a good result in a campaign that suffered from both some internal friction related to this being a deceased estate, and its taking place during a remarkable downturn in market sentiment. These variables make it difficult to assess this performance. We were happy enough with the price received given the circumstances, but feel it was at the low end of expectations and that this was largely due to the campaign achieving only one buyer. We were not particularly satisfied with the informal, almost casual feedback provided on openings, certainly nothing ever in writing/email as we would expect. So overall, a good but not stellar result.
