We are shortly due to settle on our next home and Rachael has been very helpful during the entire process. This isn't our first rodeo, and we know the process well having purchased both through agency and also privately before. Rachael has been incredibly fast to respond to any queries we had. We have missed out on several properties recently. Yes the market is insanely competitive right now, but we have had other agents simply not acknowledge our enquiries and even refuse to arrange an inspection for us. I saw the add on realestate.com for my house at 2am in the morning of Valentine's night (Thursday). I rang Racheal at approx 9.30 Thursday morning. I didn't want to miss out on this home. I put in an offer over the phone. I told her how serious I was. She said OK and to my surprise she got back to me in just half and hour with feedback from the owners. Rachael then set a time for a private viewing on the Saturday morning. Rachael advised I should inspect the home first before any paperwork signed. I thought yes of course. My son and I traveled the 1 hr and 45 mins to Mandurah. We viewed the home and Rachael helped me with my offer. She had all the paperwork ready as I had asked for. She had titled documents of the block and all necessary documents. I had not experienced this level of efficiency before from other Agents. Who I found most male Agents in Mandurah to be lazy, with no property information at hand. They also were very rude and dismissive of me as I am a 67 year old female. They also lied thinking I knew nothing but I am a building consultant and property developer with 30 years' experience. This I must say was the most pleasurable part of dealing with Rachael. She never showed any prejudgments or bias towards me. I signed on the day with a very smooth process. My son and I went down to the coffee shop and Rachael rang 45 mins later to say the offer was accepted. My son and I drove back after about an hour to see the sold sticker on the sign already. I must say I cried with joy. After dealing with 5 other male consultant's from other Agency's I thought I couldn't buy a home. I had to get my son to do all the negotiations and they wouldn't even answer my calls, talk to me at home opens. They would talk to my son and dismiss me, even when we were standing together. I was a cash buyer. Rachael thankyou so much for making everything as enjoyable as it should be.
