Without hesitation, I recommend Roger as an agent of honesty and integrity. From the moment I met him I warmed to his professional and personal style. He is gentle and humble, and brings a wealth of knowledge in the subtle art of selling real estate. At no stage did he try to ‘buy’ the listing. His initial appraisal of the property’s value was exactly what the market was willing to pay, despite me being told by other agents that it would sell for potentially $50-100K more! Roger works very hard to secure a successful sale, and is willing to show people through outside of scheduled opens. As soon as an inspection had taken place he was on the phone giving me an update. Never did I feel as though he was not being completely open and honest. Each week we would discuss what the pricing strategy would be for the coming week. Never did I feel as though he was putting pressure on me to reduce my expectations in order to sell off the property cheaply, which I have seen happen to others. Roger helped sell my house in Mitchelton while I was living overseas so I went through the whole sales process without actually meeting him. Even with the time difference and lack of face-to-face contact, the whole process was smooth and pain-free. Roger's communication was awesome - he sent regular updates via SMS or email and he sent a summary of each open house with an hour. Roger was great to work with. He is personable, honest and direct without any of the sleaziness that sometimes come with other real-estate agents. What a journey we have been on.... we have had the great pleasure of knowing and working with Roger for the last 6 months... and that’s not because our house sat on the market for long - it’s because we engaged Roger early - before we were ready to sell, to get his professional opinion of the renovations we had planned. Roger came very highly recommended to us from a trusted contact in the industry Roger took the time to listen to our ideas and kept in weekly contact with us in the months leading up to our sale. There were some hurdles thrown up prior to our contract going unconditional but Roger managed to navigate us (and the buyers) through the bumps with our best interests front of mind at all times, where other agents may have let the contract crash.
