One Sunday night I received a phone call from my grandma saying that she had decided to move into a retirement home and that she had already signed up to a great one in her area and had 3 months to sell her home. Realising that we didn’t have much time I decided to ask some local agents to come and have a look at her house. From this, I quickly realised that these “local” agents were only interested in selling her house for their commission and had no intention of working for us “the seller” to try and get the best price possible for the property.
