Generally I don’t trust real estate agents or in fact like them . Their reputation for being glorified used car salesman precedes them . I was quite speculative towards Sam and probably gave her a hard time . I was very pleasantly surprised to find that she was not at all like the other agents I have encountered . We listed with Sam Wilson at RT Edgar in Williamstown after running a campaign with another Real Estate Agent in the area. Unfortunately our first campaign begun just as the market was starting to decline and we had no luck selling after rejecting a bid at auction. Once the auction was done the previous agent failed to get us any serious interest or sell the property in the following 5 months, even though we did everything asked, and kept display furniture in the house at great expense, while watching all other properties in the area sell. Her approach, eye to detail, level of professionalism was immediately obvious and in such contrast to the previous agents. We made some updates to the house, which frankly I'm surprised the previous agent didn't suggest, which elevated the property immensely. The presentation went up, and freshened up the house and brought in positive interest. The efforts and hard work from Sam and her team paid off and we sold before Auction. And I have to restate, that the attention to detail and level of professionalism, never wavered, and was far above anything we had experienced previously. When you deal with Sam and her team you are also dealing with real people, and while they are sales-people, you never felt like you were dealing with scripted robots who were telling you what you wanted to hear, or who ever pressured you. Sam was upfront, honest and delivered above and beyond. I can't recommend Sam and her team highly enough, in an industry which doesn't always have the best reputation.
