I have been asked to Rate My Agent - Scott Wilson from Richardson and Wrench at Umina Beach following my recent purchase of property in the area. From the moment I first contacted Scott enquiring about the inspection of a property I had seen advertised, he was just so helpful in making this happen for me, especially as I was a visitor to the Central Coast and had no transport. We chatted for a while, and Scott gave me some good information about the property on the phone, and I agreed to take a look, so he arranged to pick me up a couple of days later at the address where I was staying, and take me to look at the property. I mentioned to Scott that I had never purchased a property on my own prior to this, and he assured me that he would be there to help me every step of the way. And he kept his word…… I went on to purchase the property and Scott was always there, looking out for me as promised, and helping me every step of the way. I couldn’t have done it without him. So right from the very beginning, Scott went way above and beyond what I expected from him, but then that is Scott, he is a genuine good guy. He was always on the phone keeping me updated, and he was always reassuring me when it all became so overwhelming at times. Scott is definitely a genuine good guy, who wants to ensure that his client feels that their agent is giving them the best service he can give ….. 110%, and making them feel comfortable with the whole Real Estate journey ….. in my case purchasing. I feel very blessed to have had Scott as my agent, his experience, empathy, honesty and being such a genuine good guy helped me tremendously and I can’t recommend him highly enough. When we decided to sell, in late April, and the market was still buoyant despite the 3 x interest rate hikes by the RBA. Then the Labour Government put into their budget the CGT changes in May and the market came to a complete standstill. Then in early July after 40+ people went through our place, someone drove into our home and caused considerable damage to the home and ensuite. This didn't help matters. We ended up making a loss of 5-6% not to mention stamp duty we paid and extras we added to the place. I think the team were trying to sell the place hard and perhaps we paid too much in the first place. The other problem we had already purchased another place, so we were on our knees to sell. Can't blame this error on R&W. We will close this chapter of our lives and put it down to lesson learned. Overall, R&W were eager to sell our place. But never again would we ever buy before we sold. Lesson learned!

Can’t complement Scott enough for the outstanding attention in selling my house. It sold in 2 weeks and Scott kept me informed every step of the way, sometimes multiple phone call in one day just to keep me updated with what was happening.
