We felt comfortable with Shane right off the bat. His communication skills and preparation was well above average. We particularly appreciated how he had the vendors fill out a questionnaire regarding the neighborhood/property and that a building inspection was done prior. I think though that the thing that we really liked was that when my wife asked questions, he answered them, directing his answers to her. With other agents, we felt that this didn't happen and as a result, which kind of put us off. We love our new property, and are looking forward to living there for many many years. When we decided to sell our property we knew that as a matter of priority we first had to find the right agency and the right agent. We met with 3 agents prior to hearing about Shane Broekman. Strangely enough, Shane was recommended to us by another agent who described him as a really decent person with a young family that has great insight and knowledge of the real estate market, particularly on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. After buying and selling properties over many years, we know that contracting the right agent is essential, otherwise it can all end up in tears.
