We were only in the market about 6 weeks before we met Shane but to say we didn't have a great experience with other agents was an understatement. Shane was open, transparent and honest from the start. He set realistic expectations and he got us to increase our offer above what we were originally looking to spend. He was of course working for the seller but I think Shane understands that to achieve results for his clients he has to have both parties interests at heart. He was a breath of fresh air for us after previous experiences. I've even been in contact a few times since the sale and Shane was happy to field questions and offer support. Start to finish Shane and his team were professional and knowledgeable. Attention to detail and thoroughness of Team Hicks was impressive. This particular sale was signed late at night xmas eve after weeks of solid negotiation. Im sure many agents would have parked the negotiations until after the festivities but Shane put in above and beyond to get the contract signed out of hours. I have sold with Shane on several occasions and am always impressed with his ability to do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Making the decision to sell a much loved home of over 17 years was a big one, then finding an agent to represent you and your home to the market place another big decision. After a short listing process of agents I chose Shane Hicks and his team and I have not had a single regret. He met with me already prepared, he already new the details of the property, already knew the advantages of the location, had a very clear easy to follow process and contacts of service provider options for things like rubbish removal, small job trades for minor household repairs etc (what a god send that list was).
