Timely communicator, once property sold his support dropped off.
Sheridan was great initially when we put the property up for sale, he communicated well and always returned calls. He got the price he quoted by mixing up his strategy, so we're happy on that front.
We had some maintenance issues prior to settlement, whilst Sheridan tried to liaise with the maintenance team, whilst he listened to our concerns, overall I was disappointed with Aurora's handling of the sale.
Aurora were good for 6 years, but 2 months after it was listed, we asked for a 2nd quote for a repair job (Nov 3, 2024). The property was meant to settle in January, the maintenance this & it finally sold on 27.2.25.
It's 26.3.25 and I still don't have the quote we've paid for. Once our property sold, their support dropped off, I get it, they've got other jobs, but we've been left to deal with $15,000 repair bill, after 4 months of asking them to get a 2nd quote or we can't claim on insurance.
I want to be reasonable, as service over time was good, I acknowledge it's not their fault entirely, but I reckon if the property couldn't sell without a 2nd quote, it would have been sorted.
It seems to us, they don't see it as not their problem anymore.
Sheridan repeatedly sent emails asking for a review throughout this, I said I'd do it when everything was done. I wrote a more positive review 4 weeks ago, hoping in good faith that the quote (and champagne would come), but 4 weeks seems long enough. Disappointed vendor.
