I recently used Barry Plant for a sale i was anxious about. Sheryl Emerson was my chosen agent, and she guided me through the sale with patience and good humour, and was professional, ethical and responsive at every transaction. I could not recommend Sheryl as a selling agent any more highly.

Sheryl and husband David helped us to sell my mother's mid century home on the weekend. My sister and I were impressed from the start with their knowledge and love for this type of property and the local area. They advised us clearly on how to prepare the house for the sale, organised a great photographer and gave us excellent recommendations for the stylist, cleaners and tradies. Working with Sheryl and David was fun and a real pleasure.

We appointed Sheryl Emerson as the real estate agent to lead the sale of our property due to her extensive knowledge, reputation and experience. Sheryl was involved in vendor sign up, administration, opens and communication, which was okay. Communication and lead generation needed to be sharper and proactive, instead of reminders from us to follow up. As our campaign progressed, David took over and led sales discussions and buyer follow up. David also led the offer process with us, which was an aggressive transaction and a completely unnecessary approach, not how we imagined any vendor would be dealt with by a real estate agency engaged to sell their biggest asset. Fortunately, our suggested approached yielded the best possible outcome, which David later apologised for his behaviour and agreed our approach was successful. I would not like for other vendors to have our closing experience.
