After completing a professional and thorough 4 week advertising campaign, the auction was very flat. Unfortunately, on the day of the auction, the bidding was unexciting, as there was only one strong bidder in the price range. So the property was passed in, and the top bidder was called in to negotiate with the Gary Peer Team. Simon re-assured me that he would me get a good result and he certainly did. Because of conversations that Simon had previously with the buyer, Simon was confidant. Sure enough the negotiations were successful and they were able to increase the final sale price by more than $100,000.
