We spoke to other agents but settled on Stephen Brodie from Australian Real Estate because he appeared to know the local market exceptionally well and we felt that he would work hard to achieve the best possible outcome for us. We were not wrong! Stephen and his team communicated with us clearly and regularly. Our home was listed on the Tuesday, with the first open home on the following Saturday. The open home had a considerably large turn out but it was the first couple who viewed the home the night before who ultimately purchased our home, with contracts being exchanged on the the Tuesday - one week! We were very happy with the price achieved - it was more than we had been expecting! We have been in our home for over 16 years and so we were even more delighted that the buyers were absolutely lovely people who we know will take as much pride in their new home as we have and will be an asset to the neighbourhood. We will miss our home and our neighbours but we are confident that the home is in good hands. Stephen and his team kept in regular contact during the cooling off period following exchange of contracts, e.g. valuation and pest and building inspections, conveyancer negotiations etc., ensuring that everything went smoothly.
