Upon deciding to go to the market, of course we needed to acquire a realistic valuation for our property. After meeting with other Agents, and receiving what we considered to be poor advice, with regards to the value for our property, we decided to seek an opinion from Stephen Humble. We decided this, purely upon the recommendation from a friend, who had previously used Stephen for the sale of their property, and further advising us of his great experince and strong local knowedge of the LANDSDALE property market. This knowledge and experience was proven. Unlike other agents, Stephen provided us with a realistic value, which was not based soley upon what other houses in the area had sold for. He did take into account the quality of the build for our property. Then the discussion turned to his commission. When i put it to Stpehen with regards to his rate or charges, asking him whether it was nogitiable, his response was, yes but why? He believed the rate was fair and equatible, and simply he was worth it. This I can say is exactly right. He was worth every cent of it! Due to his professionalism and hard work, the house sold within 3 weeks, and whilst we did not achieve the pitched sale price, the sale price was well above of what we had determine as our acceptable price, given the current market conditions. We found Stephen very approachable and professional, with his advice and attitude. He also possess and demonstrates a strong work ethic. Our house sold after the very first opening. After the sale, I was contacted by the office to inform me that not all of the marketing money was used and a refund was available. Such honesty and integrity is a pleasant surprise that accompanied the expeditious sale of our house.
