We engaged Steve Harrison and O'Brien Real Estate to sell our house and to endeavour to achieve our price requirement. Steve is a very engaging person and is very knowledgable regarding real estate and he is our expert and we trusted him to run a marketing campaign based on his knowledge of current buyers and homes that have been sold in our area. We had our first appointment on the Wednesday which resulted in a very good offer of $510k which we rejected, but out in writing a counter offer of $525k. Unfortunately, the client couldn't stretch to our figure. Over the next three days we had approximately thirteen groups through and Monday evening we were looking at four offers. Each offer was greater than the previous, but some great customer service by Steve exceeded our reserve by $5k, thus we sold for $530k. We are very happy and our house sold in six days.
