I was interstate and had tenants which he managed brilliantly (knowing how difficult tenants can be), and was able to get a good price in a tough apartment market by showing the great qualities of the apartment. Steve was up front and honest about the sale prospects for my house. After completing work on the house inside and out on a Wednesday, photos were taken on the Thursday morning and the house was listed later that day. Steve conducted 16 private viewings on the Saturday and more on the Sunday. This was a really significant effort taking the entire day. This was at Easter so a time which would normally see people relaxing. He received an offer over the weekend which was acceptable to me and provided appropriate advice. Steve gave me excellent tips to improve first impressions on the property. Inside, he suggested minor fixes that greatly improved the presentation, such as in laundry and bathroom. After the initial open house, the interest was quite high. On his own initiative, Steve engaged a certifier, to ensure with ACTPA, that sale can be realised in challenging circumstance where, as a vendor, I did not have proper granny flat certificate.
