We bought and sold our properties from Thom--with about 14 years in between. As a buyer, I remember his warmth, confidence and humour. We spoke to several agents when we were finally ready to move. Some pressured us to make extensive renovations that we didn't think were advisable in the current market. Thom was different; he listened to us, understood our situation and was very clear about what we needed to do to achieve the best price in a very fickle Canberra market. He never over-promised and under-delivered. With his advice based on his research, we made some strategic investments that really brought out the house's potential. We never wondered what was happening at any point in the process. Ultimately, I'd like to say that the house sold itself. Thom and another agent were recommended to me, and I ultimately chose Thom because his knowledge and experience exceeded the other. I had a few hiccups along the way, as I was living in Qld.
