About Tom

Tom thrives on hard work. He has been known to work 60-70 hour weeks and somehow maintain an easy going, well-mannered personality that people seem to be drawn to. And that's what Tom likes. He loves meeting people, being privileged to walk in their front door, learn about them, learn about their needs and future hopes and walk out the door, sometimes hours later, like a newly found friend, who only has their best interests at heart. Tom is a qualified motor mechanic and has somehow turned the grease and oil into an established real estate career. An accomplished auctioneer, he was nomiated the Ray White Rising Star for Victoria & Tasmania in 2012 and has consistently earned a place as a Ray White Premier Member in 2013, 2014 & 2015; an award recognising a high level of sales success within the group. He is proud of the Ray White philosophy; real estate is about the people, not the property; building relationships is the key. Tom sees the importance of creating that connection between each person he meets, aspiring to help them sell their property with minimal stress or buy a property that perfectly fits their needs. Tom has a local connection to Carnegie; his father owns the local Bakers Delight. He enjoys the vibrant demographic that Carnegie and its surrounding suburbs have to offer, from first home buyers, to young families, empty-nesters to those who can tell you about days when the milkman and his horse used to wander the streets. Tom finds everyone has a story, and each story is inspiring. Tom is a Melbourne High School old boy and a keen supporter of the essendon football club. In his 'not so quiet' time, Tom plays the drums in a band, and has a life-long passion for cars.

An agent who is ahead of the real estate game

Tom is incredible! He was thorough in his market research, and explanation of the current conditions and his marketing strategy (which worked amazing btw!) He kept us updated on progress and explained everything very clearly for us. He sold our property quickly and with a great result in a difficult market. His recommendations were well explained and justified when it came to property prep, styling and advertising. We are so grateful we had him as our agent ! Highly highly recommend him! very professional always there to help

tom kept us up to date very often through the lead up to and the auction very good ideas as to selling& prep for sale. Sale price was lower than expected but the covid had a big effect on outcome Tom was excellent on his handleing of the sale.

Tom Grieve : Professional Manner at all times and Accurate Market Knowledge

We contacted Tom Grieve regarding a property we saw advertised for Sale with Ray White Carnegie. He responded promptly and gave us an appraisal of Market Value and asked us if we were interested in inspecting the property, which he organised for the next day. This timely response proved crucial, as within 48 hours we were in lock down again ! We decided to bid for the property, which was an On Line Auction, it was our first experience of bidding on line. We were hesitant at first, however Tom and his team at Ray White gave us confidence by sending us links with information regarding on line auctions and an invitation to view the process. By supporting us with information, Tom gave us the confidence and optimism to pursue our purchase. Tom was always professional and accurate with knowledge before, during and after purchase.
