Firstly we chose Elders as I have had good experiences with them in the agricultural sector and found them down to earth and easy to deal with. Tom continued this experience for us. From the very first meeting he was listening to our thoughts and providing clear guidance on how we should go to market. He is a gentleman and we have thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity of getting to know Tom, he is always welcome to catch up for a coffee and should we buy or sell again we would go straight to Tom.

As buyers, we found it difficult dealing with other real estate agents. However, we found Tom to be a man of integrity who knew his stuff and was willing to go above and beyond both for the buyers and seller. Agents are employed by and work for the seller while looking to get the best deal for their client and themselves at the expense of the buyers. Often this pursuit of getting the best deal leads agents to use high pressure and under-handed tactics to get a deal done, unfortunately, we had numerous encounters with such agents while looking for our home. However, we found Tom to be the exception to this rule. Tom seemed to genuinely have both buyer and sellers best interest at heart and never pushed us or treated us poorly. Tom was always easy to contact and made himself available to answer our questions when required. We would have no hesitation in recommending Tom to either buyers or sellers in the future.
