Best agents for us

We were very pleased we decided to go with Tony and Freeman after interviewing several other agents. They were the clear choice for us based on how professional they were- they presented well, knew what they were taking about it, and most of all we felt they were honest and always acted with the utmost integrity. We were always kept in the loop and given honest feedback and most importantly, they acted in our best interests to achieve the absolute best result for us. We would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking for someone to guide them through a very important and stressful time. Thanks, Tony and Freeman!

Couldn't have asked for more

From our first meeting with Tony & Freeman, up until post Auction, we couldn't have been happier. Our initial meeting where Tony and Morgan outlined the marketing strategy, through to various meeting leadings up to the Auction - especially the pre-Auction meetings two days out - were extremely professional, informative and provided us with realistic expectations regarding the sale of Mum's house. Both Tony and Morgan were great deal with and made all of us, especially Mum, feel very comfortable. I couldn't recommend them higher.

Tony Ievoli & Freeman Li

What an experience we have just enjoyed. From the outset we had the highest level of confidence in the Barry Plant team with Tony being the 'steadying and guiding influence' whilst Freeman has the energy and passion that goes well beyond the normal. Above all, the knowledge and experience that both Tony & Freeman have of the real estate industry and in particular the greater Glen Waverley area provided us with an extended level of comfort that our home sale was in extremely capable hands. We are sure that with the sale of ones most valuable asset there is a requirement to manage vendor expectation against reality and we found that this was extremely well managed by both Tony & Freeman throughout the marketing and eventual auction process. With respect of the marketing phase, this was undertaken with superb efficiency and efficacy with a true appreciation and proposal of 'what works' presented to us which again simplified the process. Auction day and time to sell - Our part was to present our home in its best light whilst Tony & Freeman had to muster the buyers and generate a competative atmosphere in order to realise the desired result. To arrive back at our home 5 minutes before the auction time to find an extremely large crowd was rather overwhelming and encouraging which clearly demonstrated that Tony & Freeman had 'done their work'. The auction process - Tony is certainly the ultra-professional and knows his craft. Listening to his fantastic appraisal of our home and the benefits of living in the immediate area was inspiring and motivating. With bidding underway, we could only listen to the process but now understand that Freeman was feverish and active in generating the bidding competition and 'worked the crowd' with passion and committment. A great team effort that produced a very pleasing result and we must congratulate and strongly recommend Tony Ievoli and Freeman Li to any prospective vendors.

Sale of 3/1773 Dandenong Rd Oakleigh East - 22 Oct 2016

From our initial engagement with Tony Ievoli and his colleagues in setting up an action/auction plan, staging the house, and the strategy package, all could not have been any better. Tony was always available to take calls prior to auction and also remained in contact with us after the auction while we a now in settlement phase. On the day (the weather was fearful) but the buyers still arrived. The setting of the house was warm and inviting and was welcoming. The auction strategy not only met expectation but they were well exceeded. We were very impressed with the auction pre-amble made by Tony and how he presented and described the property to the prospective audience and potential buyers. The rest is history, interest in property was great and the final bid was better than expected. I was also very happy for the buyer knowing how much work was put into the renovation of the property before going to market. While the weather on the day could have been better, we could not have had a better outcome regarding the sale. Barry Plant can be very proud of the team who worked with Tony on the sale of our property. Highly recommended.

LOCAL KNOWLEDGE PAYS DIVIDENDS

From the initial appraisal of the property to the end of the auction we could not be happier with Tony and Freeman. Right throughout the process we were kept well informed with calls after open for inspections advising of feedback etc. On auction day we were very impressed with the work Tony's team carried out to achieve a price well above our expectations. We would have no hesitation in recommending Tony and Freeman to any potential sellers.

Very happy with outcome

We are very pleased with the outcome of sale for our property at Mount Waverley. In the early part of 2016 we had the task of selling our late Mother's apartment in Avendon Boulevard. We selected Tony Ivoli and his team in the basis of their competent presentation of selling options and advertising program. Throughout the sale process Tony Ivoli gave regular reports and information on progress. The team presented well at the Auction and subsequent sale achieved a result we regard as most satisfactory .

Great result for Highbury

From the moment I met Tony Ievoli, he left a good impression on me. I had asked him a couple of times for valuations over a period of 5 years. These were provided with thorough explanations and backup. When it came to actually selling the property, I interviewed other agents too, but still decided to go with Tony. He was careful not to overstate the possible outcome and kept me informed all of the way through the process. I especially appreciated the brief before the actual auction day. This left me understanding fully what was to happen. Tony followed up with potential buyers the days before the auction. I was consulted again on the day of the auction, so I felt that nothing was being taken forgranted. We were all very happy with the result, because it went even beyond Tony's expectations. I was very happy with Tony's work on the auction of this house.

Perfect team for local market

Tony Ievoli and Freeman Li did a fantastic job selling our home! We could not be happier. They are an exceptional team, who know their market, were always positive and listened to our opinions and feedback during the whole process! They were both very professional and approachable and we would highly recommend them to anyone selling their home! We enlisted Tony of Barry Plant Glen Waverley to market and sell our home last month. We were pleased with the way the campaign was run and felt that Tony kept us informed throughout. We were extremely impressed with the way Tony conducted our Auction and had many people comment on what a great job he did. He was able to get a price which exceeded our expectations. Tony handled the sale of the property very well, and reached the target price of what he indicated to us at the current market situation. although we were expecting a higher price , the market had dropped a bit, but he did indicate this to us prior to the auction to which we agreed upon and did his best to achieve the target.

An agent with good knowledge of the area and a realistic approach to selling...

For me what I was seeking from an agent was honesty, good communication and transparency. Tony provided all of this and I felt very comfortable with the whole process. Although at times I wasn't 100% happy with what I was being told I could not fault his honesty with setting my expectations. At the end of the day I did fall about $30k short of my desired price but it was in line with the current market. In comparison to other similar properties on my street I believe we have achieved a great result as those other properties are still on the market! The marketing campaign was well managed and I was kept up to date continually and suggestions were made on how to better present the property and position in the market to reach the right audience. The cost associated with marketing and selling were also very competitive and I feel were worth the service I was provided. Little touches such as a coffee cart and live music at the auction are those little value adds that can make a difference. I would thoroughly recommend Tony as your agent if you are selling your property in the Glen Waverley area which is a market that has seen a lot of success in recent times but appears to be going through a change and you need the right agent whose on the pulse with these changes to get you the best result, Tony is this agent.
