We were very happy with the service provided by Trevor, Byron and the O'Brians team. Throughout the process they were informative, respectful and always friendly! We'd certainly be happy to recommend Trevor and the team to anyone considering selling their house.
We found Trevor very easy to deal with and nothing was ever too much trouble for him. "No question too small". He kept us updated after every open for inspection which was really great. If he felt something needed doing to the house to improve it we took this on board and as a result we feel he helped us to get top dollar. I would highly recommend him.
Trevor was recommended to me by a close friend who had purchased from him. From our first meeting I felt comfortable with his presentation and advise on how to move forward with our sale. Trevor was at all times patient, professional and understanding of the emotional time we were going through. I trusted that he would present a comprehensive campaign leading up to the Auction. Trevor communicated regularly keeping us up to date with feedback and/or request from prospective buyers. I would thoroughly recommend Trevor and his team, listen and take his advice and you will have a great outcome, as we did. Well done and Thank you Trevor.
We sold our house and we used Trevor Bowen from OBrien's Real Estate. He was recommended to us by friends who said that he was very knowledgeable about the area and the Golden Triangle in particular. He definitely proved this. We had a fantastic turn out of people to our auction and we had a great number of bidders. Trevor was able to get us the price we wanted and organised everything for us from the small amount of maintenance we needed to the staging of the property for the weeks leading up to the sale. All aspects or our sale were taken care of by Trevor in an efficient and friendly manner. He kept us informed and up to date on everything to do with the sale. We knew what his services would cost us up front and there were no shocks or extras at the end. I would definitely recommend Trevor to sell your house. I would use him again if we decide to sell again.
From the initial phone call to the consultation at my home, Trevor surpassed all my expectations with his knowledge of property values in my area. Trevor’s professional advice regarding the promotion of my property was invaluable. Trevor’s recommendations for improvements prior to the marketing campaign added to the overall appeal of my home to potential bidders. The crucial advice on how to best present the property was something that I had not considered ie: having the property professionally styled. The follow up hands on approach throughout the campaign process ensured that I was informed of the interest in the property leading up to the day of the auction. The vendor’s meetings prior to auction were insightful and encouraging on how we were tracking. Byron the auctioneer conducted the auction in professional manner giving all parties equal opportunity to be included in the bidding process. I definitely chose the right real estate agent as the result was phenomenal and I attribute this to Trevor’s earnest work in the sale of my home. Thank you Trevor!
Having sold a property previously with another agent, it is very clear to see the difference between a good agent and an exceptional one, even with great results on both occasions. At the initial consultation, Trevor stood out among the rest for his genuinely friendly persona, his knowledge of the local area, confidence and dedication to selling our property to the best of his ability. Throughout the whole process, Trevor's communication, patience, advice and support were excellent, making the whole experience stress-free and even exciting! On auction day, Trevor and our auctioneer Byron Kerr and the rest of the O'Brien team did an amazing job, supporting us with our decisions and above all, providing a result beyond our expectations.
A great experience with Trevor and team, super advice, hard working, an experienced viewpoint with a fresh brand and style , solid knowledge base, up to date market trends and forecasts. Good productive and transparent meetings with both Trevor and Byron the auctioneer who was outstanding in the lead up and on the auction day, a real team effort producing a very satisfying result. I highly recommend Trevor, great job!
Trevor tried his best to market the property in the manner that had been used many times by him on prior occasions. However, I still doubt whether styling the property achieved a higher price. I agreed to undertake the advertising suggested by him and did not cut costs in this regard. Because the property did not attain the price that I had hoped (which would have been similar to properties in this area) I felt our goal was not obtained and this was reflected by placing a "Not Disclosed" figure in the advertised auction results.
We just recently bought our home from Trevor is the "golden triangle" in Cheltenham. His extensive local knowledge and commitment to his work certainly had a big impact on us as buyers. He has also gone above and beyond after the sale, ensuring that our transition is smooth and welcoming. Trevor is himself a local to the area and as we are from a different part of Melbourne it has been especially comforting to know that we have a great neighbour! He's an all round genuinely nice guy. I would highly recommend him and his professional team to anyone looking to sell their home who values passion, commitment and warmth from their agent. Thanks again Trevor! Mel
Trevor sold my parent's home of 42 years and was very understanding of the emotions that all of that entailed. He was very caring and understanding and achieved a fantastic result very quickly, way before auction ,which was much easier for all involved.
I have had dealings with Trevor Bowen over the last 5 years, and he never fails to impress me. His experience, local market awareness, and down to earth honest approach are qualities which set him apart from the crowd. Buying or selling, you cannot fail with Trevor on your team!
I can totally recommend Trevor Bowen, and the whole O'Brien team for their professionalism and diligence. Trev gave me detailed feedback of each open for inspection and kept me in the loop. He has a keen eye for details and made many recommendations including de- cluttering, painting and repairing the fence, changing a study into another bedroom, with huge potential therein, and re painting a purple feature wall into a more neutral shade, all if which made a big difference and enhanced my property greatly. He is very thorough, cheerful and has good people skills that puts one at ease. It has been an excellent campaign with wonderful results, mostly thanks to him. I am very happy to have been a client of his and wish him every success with his career. Sonia Cousins 3/1 Wallingford St Cheltenham 3192
