Thoroughly professional agent with unmatched knowledge of and experience in the Cherrybrook market.

Trevor sold our home of over 31 years at auction, and achieved a price well beyond our expectations. After valuing our house last year, Trevor explained a thorough sales methodology which gave us confidence in his professionalism and knowledge of the Cherrybrook market. Trevor then spent a year advising us on what renovations to do to achieve an optimal price. As very nervous vendors, especially with selling by auction, we greatly appreciated Trevor's patient reassurance at each stage of the process. What impressed us about Trevor was his expertise in knowing the Cherrybrook market, knowing who the buyers are and what they are looking for, his tireless efforts to work in our best interests and his ability to always give us an honest appraisal of our property's value throughout the year of our renovations. He was 'spot on!' Trevor and his team worked like a well-oiled machine and are professional, personable and likeable - a bonus for an agent! Best in the Cherrybrook area!

We first decided to list our property "off-the-market" through a rival agency who had a specific named buyer interested in our property. After a week with little communication and one showing without result, we decided we would move to a full listing, with full marketing effort. We asked for proposals from 2 companies, including Trevor Prinsloo from Louis Carr Cherrybrook. Trevor's local area knowledge, sales results, and confidence in his selling plan, won our business hands down. We had decided we would chase the best price through a full marketing programme. Add to this Trevor's own strategy of narrowing buyers to small windows of viewing time to create competition and urgency, and we had a winning plan. This was our first sale by auction, and if every instance were as smooth and successful as this was, we wouldn't hesitate in the future. Why Trevor? He is extremely open and trustworthy in his feedback about your property; he will tell you what he thinks you need to do to improve the staging (in our case, among other suggestions, we replaced old halogen lights with LED's throughout the house to improve the brightness in key rooms). He has considerable confidence in developing a plan for selling your specific property. He communicates clearly, is punctual to every meeting, provides instant post-open home feedback, and generally works very hard on behalf of you, the Vendor. We've bought and sold 8 houses in 20 years. Trevor is the best agent we've used. Period.

Great agent

Trevor handled the sale of my house very well. He had a good understanding of the market and which strategy would work best for our particular house. It was occupied by tenants and he skilfully negotiated a way to efficiently prepare the house for sale with minimum disruption to them. The necessary repairs and renovation work needed for presentain were efficiently accomplished and project managed. Trevor was diligent in communicating frequently and informing me of progress. Overall I felt I could trust Trevor in the advice he gave and managing the saleand the final outcome was a great success.

Great and committed agent

Trevor has been an absolute pleasure to work with. He is very passionate about what he does. He lead us through the whole sale very smoothly he was there for us all the time we called him anytime and he was always positive and seemed to know it all! We were just there to sell but Trevor changed our view of selling and spend time with us to explain how we can make more money. He made it easy for us and he managed everything for us. So we didn't have to deal with tradesmen or even go to the property him and his team did it all. Worth mentioning is that the prices were very good too .... so him and his team definitely have to experience and know how. Thank you and your team Trevor for the wonderful results we got!

A stress free engagement......

Good initial contact with great advice on the pros/cons of an auction strategy. The people used by Trevor to facilitate the staging of the property were fantastic and they made every effort to fit in with the tight timeline. Trevor gave us a detailed summary after each open house and we felt that we were an integral part of the the process rather than having anything forced on us. In the end we got the price in the range we expected.

we got an amazing result on our sale

Trevor and his staff were amazing, fully supportive. Tradesmen we used (Graham Spencer and Colin Harvey) that Trevor recommended were fantastic. However The Staging Professionals also recommended by Trevor I would not under any circumstances recommend. Overall this was a very successful experience

Outstanding Agent = Superb Result !

We researched 4 local agents and selected Trevor Prinsloo from LouisCarr Cherrybrook because: he loved our home, he articulated a clear marketing strategy and his passion to help us make the most of our sale was very evident. His proven track record of success made it easy for us to accept his recommendations to improve our saleability - he clearly knows his market. We undertook: new carpets, painting, updated bathrooms and a few key rooms revamped with more modern furniture. It was a well-organised transformation by his support team which took a bit of effort, but we do not regret a moment. Good publicity and four Open Homes drew more than 140 interested parties. Trevor's frequent communication was excellent and kept us fully informed as he explained how each step of the process would be managed. On Auction Day there were 13 registered bidders. . . . and we achieved a new record price for the area $1.97m -- $320k above our reserve. Superb Result - thank you Trevor.
