Will was chosen from many other agents we looked at or were recommended to us. We felt he was the right person and we were certainly right. Will was both personable and professional throughout the process. He is on top of the market an has sensational feedback skills not to mention honesty and also negotiating talents. All of which we wanted. In a nutshell 100% satisfaction.
Will and his team (especially Beth) were very helpful and efficient during and immediately after the Auction and helped make the process up to settlement a very smooth one. Unfortunately this positive experience was slightly soured during the pre-settlement inspection and our first week in the property. The house we purchased had previously been a rental property and the keys, garage remotes and security codes had not been collected from the rental agency and made available to us at the time of settlement. In addition to preventing us from completing the pre-settlement inspection, once we moved into the property we had to pay a security alarm company $150 to reset the alarm before we could switch on the electricity. The lack of garage door remotes meant that we could not open the door and the removalists were unable to use the rear lane access during our move with the result that all the larger items had to come through the main part of the house. When we rang Will, he told us he was chasing the owner and the previous tenant and would be back in touch once he had made contact. After a week with no further news I had arranged to pay $500 for a new garage door and remotes to be installed. However, prior to spending the money I emailed Will to see if there had been any further developments. Only following this email did we receive a reply saying that the keys and the remotes were waiting at the office of the rental agency. Whilst I understand given peoples travel plans it is not always easy to contact owners/tenants, upon ringing the rental agency we discovered that the keys and the remotes had been returned on the 26th of March 2015. This is some 17 days before the date of the auction and some 78 days prior to the settlement date. Whilst we managed to the save the $500, having all the keys, codes and remotes available at settlement was a condition in the contract of sale and a pretty basic oversight in the selling of a property.
Will managed the sale of our property and we were very happy with his professionalism. He and his team kept us regularly informed on progress and Will was always available for direct contact. Will ran the auction and delivered great results - a better result than we were expecting.
Thanks to Will Ainsworth and his team at Ray White for successfully helping us to sell our home recently. We appreciate the excellent timing of how all of the campaign was run, loved the efficiency and of being kept informed every step of the way. It helped to take much of the stress out of selling the house right up to auction day.
