My property was originally listed with a local agent who had a strong sales history in the area. I was promised a certain price and a result within a specific timeframe, but as the weeks went on, the only advice I received was to keep lowering the price. I started to feel like the agent was working with the buyers rather than representing my best interests. The final straw came when the agent presented an offer and pressured me to sign a contract that was full of conditions I wasn’t comfortable with, telling me it was the best I would get. I felt unheard and uncomfortable. A friend suggested I speak with Archi. At first, I was hesitant because he wasn’t a local St Kilda agent, but after speaking with him, I quickly realised that didn’t matter. His experience was obvious, and for the first time, I felt my concerns were genuinely listened to. I declined the offer and withdrew my property from sale. About a month later, still wanting to sell I contacted Archi and listed with him and Everywhere Real Estate. The difference between the two agencies was clear from day one. The communication from Archi and his team was outstanding and the preparation to relaunch my home made it feel like I was selling for the first time. Archi conducted one inspection with multiple buyers attending, including buyers who had previously seen the property. Within one week he secured an offer that was higher in price and free of unnecessary conditions. This was exactly what I had been promised before but was never delivered. The difference between the two agents was worlds apart. Archi achieved the highest sale price for a one-bedroom unit in my block and he did it in just one week. Even though he isn’t a local agent his marketing and negotiation skills clearly work in any suburb.
